Members of FarmHouse acknowledge that the true purpose of college is to prepare an individual for his future life and career. Thus, academics are strongly emphasized amongst our brothers. Academic awards such as scholarships and financial stipends are given as incentives for scholastic achievement. Voting privileges and the ability to hold an office in FarmHouse are also determined by an individual's performance

Academic incentives of FarmHouse
Some of the types of assistance FarmHouse provides are private study groups, textbook exchange, and a large file system of study guides and past examinations. Many times if someone is seeking help, there is always another FarmHouse member in the class who can help or someone who has taken the class in previous semesters.

Scholarship Committee
A scholarship committee monitors the academic status of the members throughout the semester and provides assistance to those in need of help. At the end of the semester, the chapter's achievement is thoroughly evaluated. Future semesters are extensively planned and new standards are set to achieve the highest potential possible. The committee holds a scholarship banquet once a semester in which all scholarships and awards are recognized. Members with high GPA's are awarded with steak and baked potato while the not-so-good GPA's are punished with beans and cornbread.
