2010 will be an exciting year for FarmHouse, especially with regard to our Fundraising efforts.  As of the end of 2009, we are halfway towards reaching our goal of raising $2.5 Million.  This coming year is a time to continue to work hard and involve alums who are not yet committed to the project, but also to recognize those that have already stepped up to the plate. 

The Capital Campaign Council has set a goal of receiving $625,000 in New Contributions during 2010!  This amount will keep us on pace to reach our total project goal by the end of 2011.  In addition, we feel like we should have 50% of our total alumni base committed to the project by the end of this year.  These goals may be lofty indeed, but are very achievable and important for our project's success.

Keeping those goals in mind, how are you involving yourself in the project?  Have you stepped up to the plate and made a pledge and/or contribution to FarmHouse?  Have you kept yourself in the communication loop by reading your chapter newsletter and Campaign-related material?  Have you communicated with other FarmHouse brother's recently about our organization, the Campaign, and the construction of our new chapter house?  If you answered no to any of these questions above, then you haven't done all that you can.  We ask that you please continue to remember FarmHouse and do your part to insure our future at the University of Kentucky, so that future members may share in the experience.

We are currently halfway towards reaching our fundraising goal!  Thank you to everyone who has made a commitment thus far.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated.  It is because of dedicated alumni like yourself that FarmHouse will continue to thrive on the University of Kentucky campus and be a life-altering period in the lives of countless young men for generations to come. 

If you have yet to make a commitment, please consider doing so in the near future.  In order to construct the chapter house, we must raise $2.5 Million by the end of 2011.  Upon achieving this goal, the remaining balance necessary for construction will be borrowed.  By beginning your contribution now, you can spread out your gift over the next 3 years -- 2009, 2010, and 2011 -- making it financially easier on you and moving us toward achieving our goal. 

You have two options for making Tax-Deductible giving to the FarmHouse Building project.  Both options will result in 100% of your gift going towards the FarmHouse Capital Campaign.
